Emily Ratajkowski, the fashion icon, made a bold statement at Paris Fashion Week with her minimalist yet elegant choice of footwear. On day three, she slipped into a pair of Courrèges sandals, a perfect complement to her little black dress. But here's where it gets controversial... While some might argue that the sandals were a bit too minimal for the occasion, we think they were a brilliant choice. The barely-there strappy high heels, with their silver accents, added a modern twist to a classic sandal silhouette. The Courrèges AC Heeled Sandals, retailing for $920, are a work of art in themselves. Crafted in lambskin black leather, they feature a round toe and a thin, minimalist strap at the front, leaving the rest of the foot exposed. The shoes are held in place by a thin ankle strap and a metal AC buckle, honoring the designer André Courrèges' initials. The sleek design stands tall on a 90mm heel, about 3.5 inches, and aligns perfectly with Ratajkowski's understated footwear style. The subtle sandals seamlessly matched the Courrèges V-Line Cut Out Dress, a backless style with a buckle detail on the straps and thin string at the back. The sleeveless dress featured a deep V-line design with cutouts along the sides of the torso and waist. The midi-length skirt with a high slit on the leg was completed with a dainty adjustable belt. The designer also offers a mini version of the dress, retailing for $1,320. At the fashion show, Ratajkowski sat front row alongside Kim Petras and 'Industry' star Myha'la Herrold. So, what do you think? Do you agree with Emily's choice of footwear, or would you have gone for something more statement-making? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
